Each tutorial will follow a standard format. (Yes, I know it's dry, but I like being able to skip through things to the point I'm actually interested in. Standard formats make that a lot easier.) A short paragraph at the beginning of each tutorial will describe the tutorial's purpose and use to the knitwear designer.

Software Tools:

• Lists all software required for the tutorial, including Inkscape.
• All required software must run on Mac, OSX, and Windows. Optional programs will be noted along with what operating systems they run.
• Software tools must include download links.

Basic Skills Overview:

• Will contain links to other tutorials that discuss the basic skills used in each tutorial.
• A preference will be given to video tutorials.

Handouts:

• Print handouts for beginning the tutorial, including pattern samples. (All patterns used in these tutorials will either be original snippets created solely for this purpose or patterns whose use is authorized by their copyright holder. Design copyright information will always be noted.)
• Step-by-Step printable version of the Video Tutorial

Video Tutorial:

Mostly, these will be slide shows with lots of arrows and some voice over. Some will be screen casts.
